  11. Just a few questions that have, no doubt, been asked before and, 
  12. no doubt, been adequately answered before, but please bear with
  13. me.

  15. Can I, generally speaking, use a SCSI-II drive on a SCSI-I
  16. controller?

  18. If so, what, if anything, do I need to know about the differences?
  19.  
  20. Throughput would certainly be affected, but to what extent?  Can I 
  21. expect native SCSI-I performance, or would the speed be affected by 
  22. other factors as well?

  24. What about cabling requirements?

  26. I'm assuming that the SCSI-II drive would need to be non-FAT/WIDE.

  28. Any other considerations?

  30. Any info relating specifically to the A3000 would be particularly 
  31. helpful.
